SomerStreets: Seize the Summer!

Join the City of Somerville (Official) & Somerville Arts Council in seizing the summer at the August installment of the City’s SomerStreets festival, on Sunday, Aug. 5th, from 2pm to 6 p.m. between Davis Square and Teele Square on Holland St. Ths is event is FREE & open to the public!

Activities and programming include:

Live music on two stages including:
Teele Square stage:
2:00 – 3:00pm Tarciso Alves Forró Band
3:15 – 4:45pm School of HONK
5 – 6pm Off Axis

-Water balloon toss and water balloon dodge ball with BuzzRoar Interactive – for people of all ages!

-A 40 ft water slide – open to people of all ages! Bring your bathing suit!

-Hockey, football, preschool games and more with the Somerville Recreation 

-Vintage and artisan market by Somerville Flea

-Parkour play area with Parkour Generations

-Martial arts performance and demonstration class with Oom Yung Doe
-Face painting by Tara Perrone 

-Explore a fire truck with the Somerville Fire Department and ambulance with Cataldo Ambulance Service

SomerStreets is the City of Somerville’s take on the internationally renowned Open Streets concept, closing busy city streets to vehicles, and opening them up for cycling, walking, dancing, running, and other modes of activity. RSVP on Facebook here
