Feminist Queer Happy Hour

Networking is hard and weird. Meeting casually in a no pressure environment like this happy hour (we hope) is a way to network as people who care about the same things. Ideally there would also be cats, but I haven't figured out how to make that part happen yet.

This month we're raising funds for the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund. The EMA Fund provides people with financial counseling and with money for their abortions. We help them get onto MassHealth quickly or find doctors that will take their insurance. We negotiate with abortion providers for discounts, and we help callers pay for bus or train tickets, childcare, and translation services.

The event is free but we're asking for a suggested donation of $5 (cash or Venmo). We'll also be raffling off a $100 gift card to James Joseph salon.

All are welcome! Please invite folks.
