Community Conversations: "Little Pink House" Screening

Remnant Brewing was founded on the principles of inclusivity and community and we hope to achieve that by creating opportunities for open discussion and reflection and to showcase art representative of the diverse world in which we live. That’s why we are happy to announce the start of a new monthly program: Community Conversations.

Community Conversations is a monthly event where we invite members of the community join us in exploring and discussing featured, rotating theme.

This month we are partnering with the Somerville Preservation Society to screen the 2017 film: “Little Pink House”

Little Pink House is a biographical drama that tells the true story of Susette Kilo - a small town paramedic who became a leader for the working-class of her town as they struggled to defend their homes from being taken for use by a large corporation. Their battle eventually reached the U.S. Supreme Court, in the controversial case of Kelo vs. City of New London.

Join us Tuesday Aug 27th for a free screening and post-film discussion. Beer and cafe drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. All are welcome to this event.
